Last month I had started to read a devotional book entitled, "Quiet Moments Alone With God" by Emilie Barnes and since day 1 I really want to share the things I had learned (and still learning) with others -- I think this is the most accessible way to do so.
The book is a devotional for women but I guess everyone can learn and reflect on it! It is His word and it's free for all. *winks* Take note that I will also use the same title as what is written on the book and how I pray that you will be touched by my self-reflections on each of my devotion.
Lastly, If you have something to share or add up to my reflection, feel free to do so by commenting below or you can send me an e-mail. :)
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 5: 15 - 18
"The old has gone, the new has come!"
Through all those years I've been hearing this passage from the bible but it is now that I had finally grasp what's the real meaning of it.
Being a Christian, God wants us to:
- If you're cbe firm on ommitting your life to Him, we should give up all our bitterness, anger, fear, hatred, and resentment. [This is a trial and error but your faith and your obedience to God] He will guide us through times of pain & joy, struggle & growth. Always give thanks to the Lord!
2. Growing in Godliness is a lifelong process - let God mold you into a person He wants us to be. [Be willing and have a humble heart.];
- Be open to what God is teaching us;
- Be open for changes [He wants us to live in His likeness and not the likeness of this world].
- Let Him move through your life and in your home
3. Seek His Word - His word is the foundation of our strength and security [in every passage you will be able to see His promises to you];
- By reading and meditating His word, you will be able to feel His love and have a grasp on what He wants in your life;
- Make a prayer habit! It takes 21 days to form a habit.
What to pray? How to pray?

Being a Christian, God wants us to:
- Commit ourselves fully to the Lord - make a personal commitment to Him for He is the only way for us to have a spirit of godliness
- If you're cbe firm on ommitting your life to Him, we should give up all our bitterness, anger, fear, hatred, and resentment. [This is a trial and error but your faith and your obedience to God] He will guide us through times of pain & joy, struggle & growth. Always give thanks to the Lord!

What to pray? How to pray?
- Write down your praises, your confessions, thanks and requests, and your convictions;
- Write all your pains from the past, sorrows, disappointments, all your questions in your mind and be amazed on how God will answer all that;
- Write down your promises to God -- what God wants you to do -- because a written promise is stronger than a mental one (Be obedient!).
